Prenatal  Diagnostic Ultrasound Services

We provide prenatal  diagnostic ultrasound examinations combining the routine 2D ultrasound with 3D, 4D ultrasound to those expectant mothers at all stages of their pregnancy. We recommend having the combined 2D, 3D, 4D diagnostic ultrasound performed after the 25th week of pregnancy, and the 28th week for our fuller-figured mothers.  The 3D/4D ultrasound component of the examination allows us to look closer at the face, particularly the lips and nose as well as the feet and hands of the fetus than what can be done during the 2D component of the examination. 

We offer examinations containing video footage and images on CD and DVD of your session and as always gender determination is by request only.

During the diagnostic examination, we check and assess that the baby is growing the way it should be for it's gestational age. We also pride ourselves on speaking to the patients and explaining and showing you what we are looking at and assessing.  We require you to bring your hospital routine ultrasound report with you to your appointment as verification you have had your second trimester diagnostic ultrasound; please call our office for more information. 

2D Anatomy and Gender Examination – 900kr

This diagnostic examination is very similar to the ultrasound you received during your second trimester. This examination is designed to assess the well being of your baby and check the anatomy. The babies gender is also determined. A medical report will be included with your pictures. We also help familiarize you with the anatomy of the baby and his/her environment. We also take numerous pictures of your baby and record the pictures on a CD that you may take with you.

Gold 2D/3D/4D Diagnostic Ultrasound Examination – 1500kr

Your 2D/3D/4D ultrasound examination will include a full anatomy check of your baby. We will assess the growth of the developing baby, assess the amniotic fluid volume and assess the face, hands and feet in 4D to the best of our ability depending on the position the baby is in during the examination.  During the 4D component when we are assessing your babies lips and nose, feet and hands you will see your baby in a way that is extremely different to viewing your baby in 2D ultrasound only. A detailed medical report will be included with your pictures.

The entire session can be recorded on DVD  (SEE BELOW FOR DVD PRICE). During the session, we will also be taking approximately 20-50 photos and some short videos clips of your baby such as what you see on our website, all recorded on CD for you to take home. You can also request that your baby’s gender be determined. The total number of pictures recorded to CD is determined by your baby’s position.


Premium 2D/3D/4D Diagnostic Ultrasound Examination – 1700kr

Your 2D/3D/4D ultrasound examination will include a full anatomy check of your baby. We will assess the growth of the developing baby, assess the amniotic fluid volume and assess the face, hands and feet in 4D to the best of our ability depending on the position the baby is in during the examination.  During the 4D component when we are assessing your babies lips and nose, feet and hands you will see your baby in a way that is extremely different to viewing your baby in 2D ultrasound only. A detailed medical report will be included with your picutres.  

The examination will be recorded on DVD. During the session, we will also be taking approximately 20-50 photos and several short video clips, and recording them to a CD that you may take home with you. We will also print out approximately 6 black and white pictures and 4 pictures printed in colour on print quality paper. The gender of you baby can also be determined if requested. The total number of pictures recorded to CD is determined by your baby’s position.

Nuchal Translucency (Nupp/Kub) – 1800kr (Twins/duplex 2000 kr)

Price for Combined Nuchal Translucency ultrasound and Blood test is: 1800 SEK. And for twins Duplex (tvillingar): 2000 SEK
